Out of curiosity, especially because I served over 13 years in the Army & was a unit historian for several commands, (One of those additional voluntary duties.....my real job was an infantry sniper) I would like to know when Terry's father served. There have been no Army butchers for a LONG time...like WWII'ish time. Since then, they have all been known as various varietys of the term "Food Service", which is a catch-all for "Cook".

But actual butchering stopped LONG ago. They just buy their ingredients, already processed mostly, just like civilians do & put them all together into something resembling edible.

But, of course, Terry's father could have served quite long ago....about 1/2 century or so.....when they still DID have designated "butchers".

Considering the presumed age of Terry's father, who was also a holiness preacher, it seems likely
that you are right.  That he was a butcher in the military a long time ago.  This makes Dave's idea
that Terry crawled inside dead animals to pull out the organs even more ridiculous.

No word back yet from Dave on his source or an actual link.  Darn.  I was so sure he would be
right back with the proof for the statement he made about Terry on the brown board.  Cowards
will be cowards, I guess, even in the face of a newbie like me.   Ha Ha

I've heard the same things you have about Terry Hobbs. I don't think it's debated that he grew up helping his butcher father working in a slaughterhouse - an old fashioned one, where the animals were hung upside down, hit on the head with a hammer to render them unconscious, then slit open. Terry was too small to reach into the gutted animal and slit its esophagus so as to remove the innards, and literally had to crawl inside. Nice work for an 11 year old.

I'm glad to see cnad got the info he needed to see what Dave was saying.  Now, where is Dave with the
source of this information?  If he truly has it, I want to hear where it came from.  If he doesn't reply at
all, then I have to assume he made the whole thing up to further try to taint an innocent man.  He
cries out for justice constantly.  Surely such an honorable man would see that when he makes such
allegations towards Terry, he should expect to back it up with more than hearsay.

Once again, I wait for his reply.  I hope he has a link or a newsarticle or an unknown autobiographical
work by Terry Hobbs that none of us has been privy to.

Dave, ESQ:  if you just made it up because you assumed his father was an industrial-style butcher,
then why not say so?  You know you won't be censored here.  So please let me know, as I am
still waiting to hear from you here.

Your response should be public on this board since the remarks you made were very public on an
internet board.  So please don't send me a private message.  Let your answer be open and direct
so every one here can judge it for themselves.

Is Dave REALLY a lawyer? I find this so hard to believe. Or are lawyers in the US just very unprofessional and spout off their mouths with untruths and bull shit?

English, I have no idea if he is or not.  Whether he was in the past or is now.  I just know that my
attorney would have a field day with someone like him.  It's a good thing he isn't representing any
of the guilty.  They should be thankful.  His statements are outrageous at times, his grasp
of the law is iffy, and I guess you get what you want to pay for.  Yes, plenty of American lawyers
are like him.  The point is to muddy the waters as much as possible.  But the real fact is that
he doesn't show the integrity that I would want in any lawyer representing me.

Like the statements he is making about Terry.  If they are based on hearsay he believes then fine.
He should be glad that a lot of us aren't posting all the hearsay that goes around about him as
the truth.  I don't think he would like it.  For instance, one new supporter family member used to refer
to Dave as a "disbarred child molester from New Jersey".  I don't believe that on the simple premise
that I cannot know anything about someone that I do not personally know.  However, he seems
to enjoy dishing it out to others.

I've asked this a few times Ed, without a concrete answer. I believe what convinced everyone that he was a lawyer was that he was interviewed by the media or something?

Lol, yeah, like that's a convincing endorsement. I remember a news crew reporting on a fire one time, and one of the witnesses they interviewed was identified as "Saul Goode". Lol, they just put whatever you tell them to put. They don't have to verify it.

I have to go do the family thing for awhile, but just to ask:  will I receive a response from Dave on this matter?
What do you guys think?  I really thought since he posts so much all the time and has posted on this
board already today that we would have heard from him on this matter.  Maybe I was wrong.  I just want
to know the source for his info about Terry and crawling around inside animals at 11.  And if he has a valid
source, what does this have to do with Terry having any responsibility for this horrible crime?

Regardless if he is a lawyer or not, his comments show
that he is completely unprofessional and should be ignored
at all times.

He is driven like so many before him....Free the murderers at all costs.
Any lie is justified or ignored as long as it is in the "best interests" of the convicts.

Like Sheer said earlier, I will never understand how they sleep at night.......
