Bojangles wasn't the only bloody man seen that night.  There is a note about that in the neighborhood surveys.

My laptop with my evidence room pictures has crashed, so I can't readily access it.  However, I have a back up CD with the pictures on it, unlabeled.  So, I'll post it, but it will take me awhile to find it.

I don't think the neighborhood surveys are on Callahan's site.  It was a 100+ page file.  I was in the process of editing out personal info such as phone numbers when my computer died (not at that exact moment, but you know what I mean.)  So I haven't finished yet.

My post wasn't directed at you.

And my reply wasn't directed at you, or I would have quoted you. It was just a statement added to the discussion that was occuring about PM's.

You don't know if there are reasons to keep them secret or not.  That aside, I have 2 theories.  Here is a clue for one of them:
http://callahan.8k.com/images2/gitchell_notes/gitchell_notes_jason_c_03.jpg

There is also another possible clue - something else in the case files.  It has to do with a traffic incident.

Why play games?? The rest of us aren't. If we have theories, we put them out there?? We won't laugh....unless they are completely absurd....in that case, then yes, you probably DO need to keep them a secret. Do you really think your secret theories are what is going to break this case wide open?? I doubt it.

Maybe I can help you with one of your secrets. If it refers to the mention of Damien & Jason torturing a bum....well, that shows they were definitely capable of killing a kid too, and fits well with 1 of the theories I proposed above. The one about how Bojangles was an innocent bystander who just almost wound up as a 4th victim.

Bojangles was a transient.

And you know this how?? What was his name?? I seriously doubt if it was Bojangles. Or are you just making a good guess by comparing him to "Walter"?? I freely admit that I have no idea who the guy was, thus don't try to claim that he was a transient or not. That was just ONE of the possibilities I listed, because of that fact. As far as I know, he could have been the Messiah come back as a street person.

Seems like there was also a report of a bloody man over by the interstate. Like Bojangles, it wasn't followed up.

Bojangles is a dead end. If you read Marty King's testimony it's obvious the guy was just some drunken bum. The blood was his own from an arm injury, and he was so out of it he crapped all over himself and couldn't even use the toilet paper. Any way you look at it, he could not have been involved. Murderer? No one in that incapacitated state could commit this crime. He was obviously leaving a huge mess of potential evidence all over the restaurant, yet nothing at the crime scene? And witness? Again, highly doubtful. If he witnessed the crime and was close enough to get cut, in his state, he would have been a fourth murder victim.

The fact that Marty King testifies that the dude crapped all over himself, the toilet and the stall just leads me to believe that he was completely wasted and in no shape to murder anyone or escape from murderers.

Congratulations on your worthless addition, Mr. offamy-"I have never sent a PM so I don't care if they are private"-chain.

Offamychain.  I already put my theories out there.  ???  Also, it never crossed my mind that anyone would laugh at my theories.  If they did, I wouldn't give two craps.  And, yes, I do think this this will break the case after 14 years.  I have held onto this smoking gun for just thre right moment.  You got me....

Here is my entirely fleshed-out reply so you, too, can know my earth-shaking Bojangles theories:

I believe Mr. Bojangles was a homeless man for the reasons I already explained (and for Rudder's reasons, too).   I never said I was 100% sure.  But I did say 90%. You want 100% proof that the man was homeless...  Well, I can't prove it 100%, hence why it is a theory.  Nonetheless, I'd bet TMC's house that Mr. Bojangles was a homeless man and that he is dead by now.

On May 5, 1993, he either got beat up or was hit by a car.  Those are two different theories that both involve a transient, for those who are counting at home.  There was a black male hit by a car nearby on that same night, but I doubt this was Mr. Bojangles.  (That was the second callahan link I didn't bother to look up.)  People bleeding after being hit by a car from a non-hit-and-run generally don't just stumble off towards a chicken restaurant - they get professional medical attention.

So, I think it is very likely he was attacked by someone.  (For people like offamychain who need some extra explanation, the examples in my previous post were just that - examples.)

The attackers might have been the WM3.  I kind of doubt this, but it is possible.  As shown by the callahan link I already posted, there were reports that Damien and Jason wanted to torture a transient.  The Blue Beacon woods was known to be a place where transients went.  The propensity for bums in those woods explains all the trash, a bag of clothes, a jacket, etc. that was found there.  You also have eyewitness accounts of people going into those woods and seeing transients.  The location is a direct cut through between Jason and Damien's trailer parks.  They might have known there was a chance they could find a transient there based on past experience.  This might be the real reason they came to those woods, if they did it.  Jessie said that they met up to "get some boys," but maybe that is because the police were not looking for a bum's assailant (this applies even if they didn't attack Mr. Bojangles).  Maybe there is a kernal of truth in Jessie's statement, except they really were meeting up to beat up a bum.

However, it is hard to realistically reconcile how the three children ended up getting killed but Bojangles escaped.  Maybe he stumbled into the area after the children were already attacked.  Maybe he got injured and took off down the bayou, past the truck stop and eventually all the way to Bojangles.  Maybe the WM3 could not run after him because then one or more of the kids might get away.  Maybe Jessie left Michael and is the one who attacked the homeless man.  Maybe that's when Michael tried to run away.  Maybe that's why they tied the kids up.  ....this part is pure speculation.

I doubt anyone went walking down the bayou.

It wasn't like the waist deep creek the bodies were found in.

" People bleeding after being hit by a car from a non-hit-and-run generally don't just stumble off towards a chicken restaurant - they get professional medical attention."

What if the person hit by the car wasnt hurt that bad. Just a deep cut or something. I wouldnt want emergency personell to come if it really wasnt a big deal.

And you could be right about D,J, and J just went into those woods to find some "bums to torture" (taken from Callahan's site bout what Jason and Damien are heard saying) and instead of finding some transients, 3 little boys walk in to play. So they take whats there, and "torture" little kids instead.
