Lets not forget that this is the bible belt and we (git em') all those who wear black and listen to Metallica... we are just a bunch of back woods hay seeds who still treat our blacks as slaves (cause we are all in the clan) and anyone who listens to that type of music must be some sort of devil worshippers.... GEZZ give me a break but that is what most supporters think of anyone in this part of the country. 
I have said it dozens of times that I never ceased to be amazed at what they say about us here.
I guess we are also pew jumpers and snake handlers as well,,,WOW are some people really that stupid?  I answered my own question with YES some people really are that stupid to think that way.
Just thinking how that would play out in our church.... our Priest is from Boston area and raised very high church Catholic type, he might freak if someone breaks out a snake or starts in with that "the devil is amoung us crap" which is sterotypical of southern preachers/priest etc. according to supporters.

my oldest grandson is an Acolyte (kinda the same thing) and loves it.

Just because 1% of Catholic priest do wrong, do not pass judgment on the 99% that are good and true..... with statistics being what it is 1 % of the population being corrupt is so small it is almost non existant... so all of you that wanna jump on the band wagon and bad mouth the other 99% then don't bother, more likely there is 15% of pervs in your own neighborhood that pose much more danger to children than priest, and to add damn near none of them are Episcopal with wife's and children of their own.  So let me just say if you wanna start some shit ya better take it elsewhere.

Oh I know Todd, it was stab no doubt.  They got slammed in the media because of the way it was handled.  Here in Spokane, they had a priest that was arrested.  He had came from another area after the same thing happened in that church.  Instead of turning him over to LE they just moved him.

My mother was raised in the catholic church, she left and we went as kids to a Methodist church.  When I was 20 I joined Belvue Baptist and I have been out of the church now for the last 10 years.  If I ever get back, it will probably a Presbyterian church..
