As an example, Kathy continued to deny Jessie made a post conviction statement even after she had a copy of it.

It wasn't until it was publically posted that she finally was forced to conceede.

This is why the explainations for his post conviction statement seem so desperately contrived... they are.

I thought of a possible person this might apply to. Perhaps they are talking about Jennifer Bearden? She has change her initial statment she gave to the police saying she was on the phone with Echols from 9:30 til 10 instead of calling him at 9:20 and getting off shortly after because she wasn't allowed on the phone after 9:30.  It was sometime after 9:30 that Narlene Hollingsworth said she saw them.

I could be wrong on this though and it might be someone else.

The topic came up during a live radio interview that Bruce was on with Dan Stidham, on which he said that Narlene had said those things to him.  I didn’t say it came from the books.  On the day that happened, I believe it was Chris W, called Kathy to confirm that he actually meant NARLENE; Kathy called and got it confirmed, that yes, that is exactly who he meant to say.   The discussion about it is in the Vecci board archives.

I saw PLI when it first came out in '98 on HBO and was intrigued; much. I was interested, but there was nothing to really keep me going. PLII started my fire once again, and then during a conversation on a local music board in my town the case was mentioned once again and it stared a blaze! I've been sleepless since.
