I like the "Invisable man" comment. That is particulaly amusing.  ;)

We're trying to present to you our subjective journey of what we experienced. You see Mark Byers singing in church with his snakeskin boots, and then we cut to him at the shooting range. That is a manipulation of chronology, because a month passed between those two events. It's subjective, it's manipulative, but it's emotionally truthful.

Are they talking about Hobbs or Jacoby? Or did they get their facts wrong? They also mention a 14 hour interrogation of JM as opposed to 12 hours, but that's not make or break.

JMB the quote by you at the end of the article is priceless. Again, I have much admiration for both yourself and Pam for daring to speak your minds.

 Interesting that the folks at "yearatthewheel" end their videos talking about money and that is one of the first things you see at their site, their own request for donations, so they can keep their show on the road.

It was nice to see Nat, and to see Lorri smile. Interesting to hear Joe and Bruce talk about how the case and JMB and the films have played out.

the death penalty is an antiquated and barbaric act in any case but the amount of people who were murdered by the state who have since been found innocent is horrible for the victims and their families as well. IMHO.

 JMB I was going to send you a private apology for thinking that you were involved in the murders of Christopher, Stevie and Michael, but since I came online and publicly suspected you I thought I owed you as much back. A public apology for being one of those people who suspected you. I don't know how you managed all these years. I for one left here for quite awhile because I couldn't handle the details, the anger, the nons, the fighting, etc. etc.

But my feelings or involvement were nothing, not a speck in this universe compared to what you all must have gone through, so that also makes me realize how tremendously agonizing and horrilbe this must have been for you. Nothing anyone feels here can be compared to what you and the other parents have had to cope with or endure. Not only did you lose your children but you JMB have been purposely made to look like the person who did this. You have lived with this on a daily basis since 1993. You are a very strong man. You don't have to accept my apology, but know its there. I couldn't really go on without expressing my apology.

The filmmakers are assholes when they put their presentation of Byers entirely on Mark's shoulders.  Their aim was to create a compelling film, and part of that (at least, in their eyes, I believe) involves engaging the viewer and keeping him guessing, wondering what the truth is.   And Byers proved immensely useful to them in their attempt to suggest any other narrative than the one embraced by judge, jury and many family members and onlookers.  Without all the footage of Byers they collected, they may have had to fill time with other things less flattering to the accused -- the Exhibit 500, Damien's writings to Glori Shettles, the changing alibis offered, or Jesse's second sworn confession.

Byers is so entirely convinced of Hobbs' guilt in this footage, that it made me take a step back and wonder.  However when you think about it, for Hobbs to be guilty he'd have to be the most fortunate criminal ever.  I mean, to have waiting in the wings another person who will confess three times to the crimes . . . along with another boy with a recent history of severe mental issues, including homicidal impulses, auditory hallucinations, and documented blood drinking . . .  who will face witness testimony placing him near the scene and then bragging about the crimes later . . . and all of whom will prove to have changing and disintegrating alibis for the night in question . . .

Meanwhile the "evidence" Byers offers is Hobbs' alleged past having worked in a slaughterhouse . . . along with the suggestion that he lied about his whereabouts in the early evening when the search was taking place.

You obviously have given this no thought.  The boys were tied similarly to how animals are tied at a slaughterhouse.

No, it doesn't make him guilty.  Neither do the individual peices of evidence agains the WM3 though.
