You've lost the plot.  You are only emphasizing why it would be so good -- because whoever came forward would have no alterior motive to do so.  Please think before typing.

Why would anyone feel the need to come forward Dog?

Thank you for your response.

I was wrong.  :D

Look, if you all do not want to have another confession, that's your perogative.  I find it extremely ironic that you are all chiming in to argue against something that would, at a minimum, help prove the WM3 guilty.  You nons need to step back and refocus.

For the love of God, why does anyone need one MORE confession?  How many do you need to prove the WM3 are guilty?  Step back and refocus?  Hell could you just focus.

Scott - Jessie's confession was the 1 the others were just layers on thier guilt.

Well, let's layer it on then.  Every peice of evidence is a layer.

I think it would go a long way to destroy the supporter movement however I don't see it as a requirement in the appeals process. In fact unless there was a new trial it would not be used during appeals.

Sheer - Why would anyone feel the need to come forward Dog?

If they were asked, then they might just tell.  Kind of like when someone asks a question, and another person answers it.  It's not like there has to be a reward invovled for a statement to be valid.  In fact, if anything, the reverse is true.

Rugs - Thanks for correcting my spelling.  When you get the "LOL! Your spelling sux" posts, that usually signifies that no more useful responses are coming...

Who should ask them?
Are you thinking maybe the police should basically reopen the investigation?

I agree completely. So who got the reward the first time round?

I should.

It would be nice, but, no.

Let's see -  Misskelly, Lucas, Watkins, Floresca, Carson, the softall girls.... all liars.

But you just need one more, right Dog?

What an idiot.

I have an idea.

Why don't you gather up a list of witnesses you know reported the WM3 confessed and I will show you one more.

Then we can all chuckle as you insist they must be lying too.

You really are pathetic.

Kimbo, you're an idiot.

Oh Dog, what a comeback. Right up there with the spelling insults you find so tres boring.
You started a thread asking why Jessie and the other killers weren't singing more than they did? Is that right? You say it was a stone unturned that might hide “major clues”.

Your post didn’t make a lot of sense, since Jessie did confess, multiple times, but I thought I’d go with your premise, just to see where it might lead. When it was pointed out to you that child murderer confessions aren’t that popular in prison, you pull out this little homily.

Quote
When people regret something, they usually want to tell someone about it to make themselves feel better.  I'm not saying they would broadcast it to the whole prison system.  I am saying maybe they make a friend, and maybe they tell that person.

Jessie did tell someone to “make himself feel better”. Over and over. Even his own attorney couldn’t shut him up.
As for the other two convicted child killers, maybe it wasn’t a simple case of overwhelming regret. Maybe they were more driven by the concern of ramifications rather than clearing their pure-as-the-driven-snow souls.

If you can get into the minds of the scum who ambushed, humiliated, tortured and slaughtered three young children to the point where you know exactly how they’d act – well I think you have some major problems. Presuming what people like this could or would do is hubris at best, complete delusion at worst. Take your pick Dog.

Quote
If they were going to confess, this seems like a perfect situation because they had little to lose by confessing.

What? Like their lives (refer to the mince comment); hope of parole; and deluded supporters, not to mention the $$$?
Really Dog, idiot-wise, you take the fucking cake. I’d be harsher, but I do pity the intellectually challenged.

With all due respect Dog, i think they have enough confessions, as insufficient as they are.

Kimbo,

You started a thread asking why Jessie and the other killers weren't singing more than they did? Is that right?

No, that's incorrect.

Jessie did tell someone to “make himself feel better”. Over and over. Even his own attorney couldn’t shut him up.
This only furthers my point.  If Jessie could not stop singing, he probably kept singing upon first landing in jail.  You have an incredible knack for contradicting yourself.

On whhat they had to lose - supporters, not to mention the $$$?
Really Dog, idiot-wise, you take the fucking cake.

The whole premise of my post is that they did not have supporters and money in the time period I'm talking about BEFORE PARADISE LOST CAME OUT.  I love it when people call me an idiot after being too stupid to follow what I've posted.

Ijustdontknow - With all due respect Dog, i think they have enough confessions, as insufficient as they are.
That's the point.  I'd like to find one that more people find sufficient, if possible.

Farm asked - But you just need one more, right Dog?
I want the truth.  You think you have it already, and that is fine.  I would like one confession that does not have a blatant ulterior motive for either (1) why the person confessed or (2) why the third party says they confessed.  I think Floresca's is interesting, BTW, but that is for another post.

Really, I don't see why you all have such venom for the fact that I am looking for something that will help your cause.  Do you just see the words "DogIsYourName" and immediately start attacking without even considering what I am saying?

Bullshit.

Your posts drip with sentement for the convicted.

Stop with your silly "I'm on the fence" crap - there have been many through the years who tried that faux ojectivity nonsense and most were far better at it than you.

I know this is a 2 year old thread but here is the prison confession Dog wanted.

October 24, 94

Mr. Brent Davis,
I am forwarding this letter to your office simply because you were the only prosecuting attorney that I was able to get the address of. After reading this, I hope you will bring it to the attention of the appropiate persons.
I may have some useful information for the prosecution in the upcoming appeal of Jessie Misskelley. Who, as you may know is one of three defendants accused of murdering the three young boys in West Memphis.
I have known Misskelley since June 9th, 1994. We are currently housed together in the A.D.C. Diagnostic Unit, Special Programs Unit.
At several different occasions, Misskelley and I have talked extensively about many facts of the case. Among them, Misskelley told me that they, the defendants, cut the testicales of one of the children off. That Jason Baldwin, one of the defendants, had sex with one of the children after he had been killed. And that Damien Echols, one of the defendants, said a prayer before they threw the boys in a ditch.
Misskelley, also told me that they, the defendants, left a night gown at the scene so that it would look like women had committed the crime. He says now that he is trying to blame the parents of one of the children.
Misskelley also told me that his confession is the only evidence that the prosecution has. And that he and his attorney are trying to have that dismissed.
I once asked Misskelley what were the names of the three boys. He laughed for some time, and then said he could only remember one of them.
Mr. Davis, please do everything in your power to keep Misskelley behind bars for the rest of his life. He is a very cold, morbid person.
I thank you for your time
Michael Johnson
