Im a little blond when it comes to legal and medical terms, but, when you say that there was dna present in the swab from Moore and it was his and the WM3, Is it written there where it says, for Branch Ligatures and also under Moore penis swabs, where there was a possible mixture, is that what it is meaning. So there was a mixture, and the mixture would be of the victim and the defendants?

I am also not clear about what the term "mixture" means as used here. The email reads as if the list pertains only to foreign alleles.
Without more information, couldn't this just mean a mixture of two DNA sources -- not necessarily the Defendants' or Victims'? Basically, it is foreign but may just appear foreign because it is a mixture. Not necessarily that some of the mixed DNA is consistent with the defendants?

Speaking of alleles, isn't it interesting that the Defense were looking for alleles which were foreign to both the victims AND the convicts?....
So on Moore's penis swab - D5S818 locus, there were alleles attributable to both the convicts and Moore.

If the defense actually manages to introduce some compelling evidence (this is stuff that isn't wild supporter theories about insisting hairs are trapped in ligatures and whatnot) then the prosecution might decide to do some of their own DNA testing after the appelate motions are filed . Although I'm fuzzy on whether the Defense would be able to exclude items from Prosecution testing if such an event were to come to fruition which I find doubtful. Still, you never know what can of snake oil might be sold on the open market as it were that might actually prompt the Prosecution to have to take further action.
