Hi all.  Just some comments and questions on the 500. Thanks Sheer for posting.
At 027 - the "poem by Damien" is from a song by the band Slayer.
On 1/25/93 entry says "He typically drinks the blood of a sexual partner or RULING partner" - wtf is a ruling partner?
There are several entries that refer to a strange noise he makes and that he appears to be "sniffing the air".  It kinda made me think of the Hannibal Lecter character in Silence of the Lambs" What do u think?

I think he was craving liver (hold the onions) with a side of fava beans 

Damien's counselor also noted that he was shifting his eyes about, as if responding to outside stimulation.  In other words, he was smelling/hearing/seeing things that weren't there.

 Don't forget the chianti!  I wonder if that's what Echol's was thinking when he threatened to eat his father. 

He copied dark and threatening lyrics from bands. I think he may also have copied dark and threatening behaviour from films.  That "purring" and "sniffing" - it sounded familiar.  Then I remembered Silence of the Lambs.  Too weird.  He was (is?) undoubtedly psychotic.  And strangely unoriginal. 

Anyone with doubts about Echol's guilt should read the 500.

So what? It's typical teenage angst. Jerry Driver probably told all of that to the doctors, it's just rumors spread by a town filled with satanic panic! Damien's own father said he hugged a kitten once, therefore he could not have been a serial killer in the making! Who knew him better than his own family after all. I taught teenagers for many years and it's totally typical for a teenager who feels persecuted because of his low economic status and alienation due to his type of music and clothing to lash out and chase children with axes!  Plus he's so mature and articulate, so he couldn't have killed those kids! Terry Hobbs, on the other hand, used to work in a slaughter house and knew how to tie knots, did you know that? All that stuff in the 500 was made up so that the hospital could rake in millions from Medicaid cause they pay huge hospital bills in full when probation officers make up lies. And Jessie was mentally challenged and you are all prejudiced against Jason cause he had a mullet!

You guys are no better than "tHE perp" with your rumor spreading!
