There ARE NOT 12 boxes of evidence; No, there are 22 boxes of evidence!  We had been copying documents based on previous researchers claims that there are only 12 boxes of evidence, but the first 5 aren't viewable.  This isn't true.  There are 22 boxes of evidence.  Most likely these other boxes contain physical evidence, but we had the clerk pull box 13  just on a whim and there were paper documents, tapes, etc.  we didn't know existed.

She's going to help out by getting it organized and getting an inventory started!

Maybe one of them has the Evan Williams bottle neck in it, or maybe even some sort of comparison analysis in preparation for the Baldwin Echols trial.

I don't think the police would have the bottle neck. Stidham found the bottle neck after he DEMANDED Jessie tell him something only he knew that would prove he was telling the truth about his statements. Jessie did and Stidham found the bottle.

If there was more evidence why didn't the lawyers know about it?
Or is it basically bullshit evidence that doesn;t mean anything.

In a case this large there were tons of wacked out people coming in and talking with the police and in many, many instances there were those who confessed to know one thing or the other and some who flat out confessed but 99.9% of these prove to be either people with mental problems or just attention whores wishing to talk to anyone who would listen, this kinda crap goes on all over the place so I suspect that we will have some "red herrings" posted by some with less than honorable intentions in order to stir more doubt.  If ANYONE  believes for a minute that the defense attornies have not gone thru this stuff time and time again trying ever so hard to find ANYTHING they could to help their side then they would be just crazy.  Its funny how it sounds as if we are about to get something "NEW" out of this.   Sorry but I dont think so.

Jan I think you said it best, I guess I should of just said "ditto" and left it at that.

Excuse me, but do I need to be defending myself for reporting there are more boxes in the evidence room?  I'm not shouting "Conspiracy" am  I?  That was absolutely NOT my intention.

I know nobody has looked in those boxes in a very long time.  The evidence clerk didn't even want to touch some of them because "sand" would literally spill out of them.  I have no idea what is inside of them but after looking at how many things are misplaced or simply missing from the other boxes, I am curious to see what might possibly been put in there. For example, there were hundreds of tips made to the police department.  I'd like to see if they were put in one of those other boxes or if they were thrown in the garbage.  I would also like to see if Jessie's polygraph chart might be in one of those boxes also.

If I had to take a guess, I'd say it's probably just items like the pink blanket, red long johns, whistle on a chain, etc.

I certainly didn't read it like that. I'm sure no-one thinks that at all, Kitty. :)

Fact is, you have done an incredible job and I think everyone here is really grateful, as I am. I imagine a Super Sleuth Kitty going in there and getting everything organised. Or maybe the Super Kitty like Kanga posted:

For those of us far away, it is great that you are doing all this work, and all of your posts on your finds are much anticipated and appreciated. Thank you Kitty for making the effort and sharing the information. You have proven your integrity and the work of you and your team is trusted, without any other thoughts of intention.

Regards, Kimbo
