I've been there several times Kitty. Good luck and my thoughts are with you.

Please let us know how it goes.

Well I would agree with Todd on the issue. There could be something of interest to us in there but defense and state have been over it all I am almost positive of that.

The simple fact is there is no other evidence that is why they invented it with the Writ of HC

There is definitely more evidence there.

There is more than you've seen - this we all know.

If you are implying there is more than the attornies have seen, I can either laugh now, or wait till you offer your explaination for coming to such a silly conclusion.

With respect to box 13, I don't know what the attorneys have or haven't seen.  You would hope they would go through it all, but that does not mean that they have.  I am not implying anything.

I am explicitly saying viewers of callahan have not seen it all yet.

Thanks everybody! I'm glad I have such good friends!

The evidence clerk said 13 boxes made it to court.  So that leaves 9 boxes of evidence left over.

This is what I remember about box 13:

A copy of the transcript from Clay County.
A framed school picture (missing the glass part of the frame) of who we think is Jessie but can't be sure
An enormous file sent from Oceanside PD which included several video tapes and maybe an audio tape too
This also contained the polygraphs for Morgan and Holland
At least 3 more audio tapes of different people, one of which was another interview with L.G.

There were some other things, but we didn't know about the box until about an 30 or 45 minutes until we had to leave. We just tried to skim it because we knew we'd be having to come back to copy those files and video.

Damien's polygraph was buried inside one of the video/audio boxes.  It was folded up with various other papers in a small sized manilla envelope located toward the back of the box (I think it was at the back.) I can't remember if the envelope was labeled or not. Tweetysocute found it.  I know she and Solo had been through that box before and overlooked it.

I just remembered this.

Two books were in there, a black one called Magick (I think) and the red Cotton Mather book.  There was also a paper bag that contained a sock found behind Lakeshore I think it was.

We DID NOT handle the sock. I repeat, we DID NOT handle the sock.

With respect to box 13, I don't know what the attorneys have or haven't seen.

The boxes didn't just walk into the evidence room and number themselves.

You would hope they would go through it all, but that does not mean that they have.

Puleeeze.

Mallet and Scheck spent MONTHS inventorying the evidence.

You don't think they weren't specifically looking for a discovery violation?

Now Riordan, he probably hasn't seen much of it since he's not even familiar with the testimony from the trial,... but you get what you pay for.

The evidence clerk said 13 boxes made it to court.  So that leaves 9 boxes of evidence left over.

Made it to court?

The evidence wasn't sent to the evidence room until AFTER trial.

So, leading up to trial, you think the evidence was just in a big disorganized pile?

The WMPD collected the evidence and stored it.  The boxes were used by the prosecutors for trial, but that doesn't mean all the boxes made it to court.

They would have been shown in Discovery Dog.

The majority was most likely irrelevant.

Maybe I should have put quotation marks on "made it to court."  I was just repeating what she said.

I was excited because there would be more stuff to put on Callahan's.  I already said I think it's just stuff like the pink blanket, whistle on a chain, etc.  The "bullshit evidence" like Jan said. We thought their might be more paper documents like the tips, etc. to copy and post that's all.

No, The attornies had the documents and the crime labs had the physical evidence.

The WMPD collected the evidence and stored it

No, they didn't.

Once again, the Attornies had the documentation and the crime labs had the physical evidence.

The boxes were used by the prosecutors for trial, but that doesn't mean all the boxes made it to court.

You don't know what you are talking about, Dog.

The items were sent to the WMPD evidence room post trial.

That's when the boxes were inventoried and numbered.

I might add that the officer in charge of that room may not have even worked for the WMPD at the time, most seasoned officers are put on more important assignments than the evidence room. Thus would not be qualified to say one way or the other about what has or has not happened over the last 16 yrs. in regards to ALL of the boxes.    She may have been trying to impress yall afterall you guys were searching for the willy wonka golden ticket she apparently was all into as she went out to dinner with you guys afterwards.
Hey I heard the snozberries taste just like snozberries  ;D
Just kiddin' I think its funny anyone goes in there looking for stuff that countless people have done over the past 16 yrs in hope to find that ONE THING noone has ever seen before....stop the presses as dog said "its not on Callahan's"  ::)
