Wild Child: The story of Feral Children: This disturbing documentary explores the “nature or nurture” hypothesis. Subjects include: a girl whose alcoholic parents let her live in the backyard from the age of 3 with the dogs. Never having learned human behavior, she barks like a dog, pants, and runs around on all fours. A boy who is seven that was also partially raised by dogs, and a girl who was severely neglected until age 13. Jeanie was kept in isolation from the age of 13 years old, strapped down to potty chair during the day, kept in a cage at night, and never spoken to. When the cops finally found her, she was the size of a 7 year old and could only speak like an infant. This documentary explores the capacity to learn after the age of development is over, and what happens to these children when they are saved. RARE Interview & 1994 Documentary w/ Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante: When a Dutch film crew went to interview legendary guitarist John Frusciante, they were greeted with a terrible site. Described as "skin over bones," Frusciante was a mere skeleton, with long greasy hair, sunken, staring eyes, and hands swollen with infection from injecting heroin. He looked like a man on the brink of death, which he was. Amazingly, he agreed to be interviewed and filmed in this state. This DVD includes the full, uncut interview (clips of which were seen on The Red Hot Chili Peppers "Behind the Music"), and also interviews with Bob Forrest and River Phoenix (who had only been dead one year when this was filmed) also included on this DVD is the infamous documentary "Stuff" filmed by Johnny Depp.
