Thanks TJM, it does say on the WM3 site that the hearings might be postponed.

I'm not sure if this is the case but I thought originally, the Sep. 8th hearing was to be for all three. Then, according to this article Jan posted last week:

"Judge David Burnett said he would conduct an Act 1780 hearing for Damien Wayne Echols first, then a hearing for Charles Jason Baldwin and Jessie Lloyd Misskelley, if needed."

Is this what Bakken is referring to?

I don't know Tammy............however this thought gave me warm and fuzzy feelings.   ;D  I snagged it from another thread:

Dave said this:

it'll be more difficult for everyone to get time off from work, rearrange our schedules, and far more expensive to get flights for those of us who want to attend.

Burnett ordered Misskelley’s defense attorneys to turn over any and all recordings, notes and documents that contain Misskelley’s statements before and after his 1994 trial.

It's almost as if someone mentioned the fact that even according to Stidham, Misskelly maintained his guilt long after his arrest.

Judge David Burnett said he would conduct an Act 1780 hearing for Damien Wayne Echols first, then a hearing for Charles Jason Baldwin and Jessie Lloyd Misskelley, if needed.

Burnett explained if he rules against Echols there would be no need to hold a hearing for Echols’ co-defendants.

I do not think that Burnett is suggesting postponement, rather saying that he is not going to let this become another circus and it will be nipped in the bud with Echol's dismissal. I guess it's on how you read it - personally I think Burnett is up to pussy's bow with it all and is making it quite clear there won't be any re-runs.

Good on him. I guess he didn't buy the t-shirt.  :D
