November 2008 Hearings

Paid: "I attended the hearing today....don't know if anyone's been reporting. A forensic psychologist (never got his name) testified about Jessie's competency for most of the day. He was very professional and tore Wilkins (a psychologist for the prosecution) apart..."
Wilkins was not a psychologist for the prosecution; he testified for the defense in Jessie's trial. Do supporters realize that these hearing are concerned with ineffective counsel, as opposed to bashing the prosecution in a make-believe retrial?

Jonesboro, AR--Brandi Hodges Reports
JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - - In his testimony Derning said he was originally contacted by Dan Stidham and then by Miskelley's current attorneys to do a mental evaluation of their client.
Question. If Stidham originally contacted Derning, I don't understand how that shows ineffectiveness of counsel on Stidham's part.
UNLESS... Stidham is contending that he was so young ("a mere lad of 30", that cracks me up) and inexperienced that he let Dashing Derning slip through his fingers and replaced him with Wimpy Wilkins.
Well, ok. He was knee-high to a grasshopper and sopping wet behind the ears, but what was Crow's affliction? I mean, Jessie had two lawyers, didn't he?

At least Denning had a valid licenses to practice.
Even during his testimony Wilkins was suspended and wasn't to practice at all without supervision.
Why?
Seems he had consistent problems "interpreting" MMPI tests results. (like the malingering index)
You don't suppose Wilkins "expert witness" forte' was Presonal injury lawsuits do you?
Maybe a disability claim here and there?
