So if these guys ever got a new trial (which seems unlikely) what would be the outcome? I understand that some witnesses may have passed and that new forensic techniques might be available, along with the standard claims of sloppy investigations and bad confessions. Could these three get a reduced conviction, reduced plea, or even be found innocent?

If either Echols or Baldwin ever got a new trial, I have absolutely no doubt Misskelley would testify against them this time.

The fact that his new attorney still refused to put him on the stand during his rule37 tells me they are keeping their options open.
