Yesterday I found a forensic web site that stated post mortem wounds can be yellow in color. So I was wrong about that. Also it mentioned something about histamine (histamine is released during an allergic reaction or when a bug bites you). The site stated histamine is not released after death therefore mosquito bites, bee stings and other insects that have venom will not readily be seen. Histamine is what cause the skin to swell and itch after the bite. BUT........I can't find the damm site and it's making me crazy :BangHead:
It was a really good site too. Dammit I'm still looking!

I am having an awfully hard time with this theory.  How did spitz & souviron come up with the idea that animals were responsible for the wounds??  Specifically those on Byers.  The defense went from those injuries having to be caused by someone with extensive medical training and plenty of time to animals?

Spitz came to his conclusion that the wounds were post mortem because they were "bloodless".

This and his theory that it was small mammals leads me to believe the man wasn't even aware the bodies had been submerged when he "analysed" the photos and pitched his initial opinion to the Defense.

It was the small animals that performed the precise injuries to Byers, but large animals that went after Branch.  It seems too far fetched for me.

Well, you want a bigger laugh?

When Riordan announced this "new evidence" supporters danced around like Echols would be out in days.

After all, it CLEARLY contridicted Misskelley's statements about the castration.

You know, those statements which were never presented to Echol's jury in the first place.

Just like the DNA evidence.

Let's assume for a minute that the animal predation theory is correct, and no knife was used.  Well, doesn't that contradict one of the defenses that the scene was a dump site.  "where's the blood??"  Well if small, large, marine animals were the cause of all these injuries, wouldn't one expect even less blood than was actually found?

That's the thing - the Defense is now admitting that the murders occurred at the discovery site.

But you know supporters - the more alternate theories the better.

Doesn't really matter if they contradict each other.

Nons have been saying that for years.  Imagine that.    ::)

Bojangles, human bite marks,  Mark Byers, incompetent to stand trial, juror misconduct, animal predation, Terry Hobbs......who can keep up anymore?

Have I left any out?  :)

You missed the idea that maybe someone hit them with their car while searching, then hid the bodies out of panic, and moved them later.

JG, I read that on the stain board last night and I'm still laughing 24 hours later.

Is there no limit to their absurd delusions?

Seriously!  They might have some more credibility if they didn't grasp at anything and everything.  If they are so confident in the innocence, why do they need to come up with these absurd theories??
