Todd, I have no right to ask you this, but I'm going to anyway.

Would you look at the Cub Scout hat that Emmaline has posted on the WM3DB, and tell us if that looks like Michael's cap?  It's in the thread "The mystery of the cub scout cap SOLVED." 

The entire back of the cap (if it is a cap, and not photoshopped)  is see-through mesh, and it looks very large for an eight-year old.
