He so knows that he is guilty as hell.   He has faced it already and that is why he is rarely heard from. That is why he was so calm, cool and collected during the trial, and when the verdicts were handed down.   That's why he went off to prison so quietly.  He tries to tell people in actions that he is guilty, but some folks are just too dang stupid.   I don't think that he truly holds any hope in screwing the system and getting out..............he just goes along for the ride.  He is living out his dream to be known even after he is gone.

Damien Echols is most definitely innocent.  We correspond via letters quite often and I am 110% completely sure that he is innocent.  He should be released and allowed to live his life.
