The Bugliosi book is a great read.
There is a lot of common ground between the Kennedy Assassination and this case regarding the conspiracy theorists.
To them, the KA is rarely about the facts of the case. It's about a grander theme -- which "shadow force" stole away democracy from the American people by killing their leader. Whatever your political beliefs, there's a neat villain at the ready to plug in.
In the WM3 case, it's about defending three modern day Snuffy Smiths against the nefarious Roscoe P. Coltrane and Boss Hogg, who didn't like their attire or music choices. Claiming their innocence them makes one, like, a good person and a hero and stuff.
The case details are just pesky stumbling blocks to advancing their "greater" cause. That's why myths like the 12-hour interrogation and the Magic Bullet Theory have to exist.

Right. And you know. What we all think. Of course.

It's not hard to figure out one's thoughts when that person admits that they don't have any evidence the police framed the convicts, but chooses to believe it anyway.

I don't think they were "framed" though. You know this.

So in your theory that the interrogators "fed" Misskelley details of the crime, you figure they did this to exhonnerate them?

My opinion? OK. I kind of think Ridge was a dumbass. And I think he'd never been put in such a horrifying situation before. How many other possible triple-murderers did he have to interrogate before Jessie? He made mistakes. I really think he had the best of intentions. I don't think Gitchell made his mistakes on purpose either (though I don't think he was quite the dumbass that Ridge was). I don't think the mistakes were made on purpose, but I do think they made a huge difference.

There were leading questions. Perhaps it was lack of experience or training. Doesn't mean it was on purpose.

Well it pretty obvious when reading your posts.
You think that they are innocent, or at least they deserve a new trial correct?
And when asked why, you can't come up with a rational reason to support your idea

There were leading questions.
Then there must have been intent.
Perhaps it was lack of experience or training. Doesn't mean it was on purpose.
He "accidentally" fed Misskelley details?
HAHAHAH!!!
You crack me up.

He accidentally asked questions that provided details. The word "fed" indicates intent. I choose to believe they weren't idiots on purpose. I could very well be wrong.
