Did you ever notice that during PL1 that Jessie's sister states "Damien is a good Kid".  Jessie swings around dramatically and gives her a confused look disagreeing with her.  She immediately recants her statement saying " I guess...I don't know". 

Not sure if that has been pointed out but the look Jessie gives her is very telling.  It looks as he was thinking " if he was such a good kid, then I would not be in this mess".
