I had to dig through my garage for boxes of books that I still haven't unpacked from ages ago and I happened on Blood of Innocents.

In it, it says that Terry Hobbs and Pam arrived at the scene after the boys were found and that Terry went under the police tape, was met by Gitchell who told him that "yes it was the boys" and that Terry collapsed with grief crying.

I have a vague recollection that years ago someone on the borg may have said that there was some confusion and it wasn't Terry. (I may be totally wrong, my memory is a bit crap)

Does anyone know? Jan?!

I also found Almost Home and re-read a few bits. That man is so arrogant and his writing is appalling. It just makes me furious the way he uses descriptions of people to show who he thinks is bad/evil..he even does it about the parents.  (To me this signifies this shows that he lacks any empathy whatsover.)
I'll post about it later.

this is the only book about the case i haven't read~ i have it tho, but i have to finish jr ward first~

A little birdie told me that JMB claimed that he was the father that did this on the Leeza show.

I'm assuming the book came out before the leeza show was filmed.


I am aware that Mark has a habit of appropriating the memories of others. (remember in the PL films where he said that he was tied up or somesuch thing?)

It was Terry according to the book (page 56)

"As they (Pam and Terry) pulled up, things didn't feel right. A crowd had gathered on the south bank of the Ten-Mile Bayou near the pipe. Yellow crime tape was up. Big Steve Branch, Pam's ex-husband was there. His eyes were red and clouded.
Lord, no Pam shrieked, collapsing to the ground. A circle of people picked her up and carried her back to her Buick. Her husband ran toward the crime scene tape, determined to hear for himself what happened.
You can't cross that line, Big Steve yelled at Hobbs.
Watch me, he shouted back. Terry Hobbs ducked under the yellow tape and made only a few more steps before Gitchell came racing up, blocking his progress.

I pulled out BOI and found what Sunnyone posted, but I think you would have to tie me down and torture me before I picked up Almost Home again, Damien Echols is one arrogant bastard, that I hope he gets what he deserves from saying his mother's wedding was white trash, to saying he never loved Domini too making sordid remarks about people, too him if your not rich and famous your nothing. He makes me sick just thinking about it and what he wrote, yet supporters thought it was funny, and he was showing his personality yeah the personality of a fucking psychopath.

i am reading BOI right now along w/ book 5 of JR ward ;D~ BOI is the only book on the case i hadn't read cover to cover, tho i did read about 80% online places~

yeah, book 5~ the holidays & my boken toe, in which my foot turned black, have really hindered my reading~ i couldn't sit still for long, my foot would throb like a bitch~
