No new trial in West Memphis 3 killings

JONESBORO, AR (WMC-TV) – The two men convicted of killing three West Memphis boys will not receive a new trial.

Judge David Burnett turned in his ruling Wednesday morning at the Craighead County Courthouse.
Jason Baldwin and Jessie Misskelly are both serving life sentences for the 1993 killing of three West Memphis boys. The two men claimed they received inadequate counsel during their trial previous trial and requested a new trial.

The men and their attorneys claimed new DNA evidence not available in 1993 helped prove their innocence.

The Court concludes that counsel was hardly deficient for not pursuing a sideshow about post-mortem animal predation, any more than the counsel of his co-defendant Echols was as to human bite marks.

Two comments:

1.  Sideshow.  LMAO!
2.  Do supporters honestly believe that there's a judge in this country who would take the turtles seriously?  It just boggles the mind.

He was actually going to do his job??  ROFLMAO!!  That's where the humor is.

But, on animal predation, including but not limited to turtles, raccoons, dogs, and other carnivores in the area ... and what they do to bodies... - Google it a bit -- look around.  See for yourself.   .....  or don't -- if seeing wounds that will look VERY VERY familiar to anyone whose seen th4e autopsy photos of the boys ....  might be better not to look; keep your head in your..., oh I mean keep your head in the sand.

Actually, I said that NO judge in this country would take the turtle predation seriously.  They haven't, and they won't.  It's absurd, and not just legally.  It's common-sense absurd.

Yeah, we know.  Spitz has those wild dogs flinging the boys against hard places after they're dead.  Just playin' around with dead bodies for sport.  A little canine competition.
