My flat-mate and good friend flew from Australia to Boston yesterday. She and her dad are running the marathon on Monday.

Any Bostonians here? I have heard it's a pretty big event over there.

she's lonely, lost, she's disconnected~ she finds no comfort in her surroundings~ beautiful, insecure, she has nothing~ she moves from situation to situation, like a ghost~

I just heard from her. She ran three minutes faster than her personal best so she is very happy!

It's huge.  My brother ran the Boston Marathon for years.  The man doesn't have an ounce of fat on his body.  He makes me sick.

Which is exactly why I plan on taking up running! At the moment I can't even run 1km without needing to walk for a bit. I'm aiming for 10km and want to do the Sydney Harbour Bridge run in August.

Actually, I think it's more than the bridge  ;D I think the bridge is only a K or two at the most.
