I'm a left leaning conservative plutocrat with a taste for the government staying out of my business with the right to bare arms (in a cut off sleeve Judas Priest shirt if you desire) with no PMRC or BADD (Bothered About Dungeons and Dragons) but maintaining a strong military presence as required.

I'm generally a social moderate who believes in personal responsibility, and a fiscal conservative.   As a result, I usually vote Republican or independent and pretty much never vote Democrat.  But I have lost faith in the Republican party for now.  Until they show that they will actually shrink government, then I don't think their policies work.  You can't cut tax AND increase spending.  That just drives up our debt, which eventually will make us political slaves to China and whoever else loans us money (and slowly buys up our assets with the interest we pay them).  So I just voted Libertarian in your poll.

I think davedave is trying to prove we're some kind of lame ultra-republican hive mind that is old and can't rock the casbah and listens to stody old music on our 78 rpm record players. Everyone thought I was the love child on Ian McKay in high school and ultra straight edge too. Can't help it if I looked hot with shaved head and didn't care to get pilled up.
