Yep, by marriage.  My mother-in-law and his mom are sisters.  Or, in other words, he and my wife are cousins.  Yeah, I think he does alright with the ladies  .  He was a freshman at Notre Dame when my wife and I started dating, and in this entire time I've never known him to have a steady girlfriend.  Oh to be young, single and playing in the freakin' NFL!   

I feel bad for Brady Quinn.  I hear he's a decent guy.  Maybe a little full of himself, but hopefully the last few years have humbled him and he can redeem his NFL career.  He's young and he's still got time.

You're much kinder than I am. He was overrated when he was at Notre Dame and he was definitely not worth what the Browns gave up to move up and draft him. Personally I think he's a jerk. He's from a suburb of Columbus and his sister is married to former Buckeye (now Packer) AJ Hawk and loves the attention he gets when he's here. My hatred for him mostly stems from his pattern of gay bashing. Only one incident made the news (he was screaming insults at some guys coming out of a gay bar in the Short North here in Columbus while he was hanging out with his friends), but he is regularly a jackass.

My husband just e-mailed me and is pissed because there are rumors that the Steelers are going to move Ben to trade up and draft Clausen, who is being considered by the Browns. I've been telling him the Browns need to trade up and get Bradford, but he never listens to girls (even though I told him Troy Smith was going to win the Heismen when Tressel benched Zwick for him and I was right )

No, I'd never heard about that incident.  Pretty douchy.     I haven't really followed him that closely since he left Notre Dame.  I am sorry he didn't turn out better.
