Does anyone know when the Rule 37 transcripts and evidence will be available to the public?  Or maybe they already are, and they just need to be requested from the right entity?

Maybe the state appellate prosecutors can give us a lead on this?

I don't know, dog, but I'd love to read them.  Going by written reports of supporters who attended the hearings, it was extremely damaging to the defense.

From what I've read, Rozenwieg didn't even make an effort to imply his client was innocent, but rather went after Stidham and Crowe for not pleading Misskelley out - as he should have.

Can you imagine having to follow up Stidham's cluster fuck of a case on appeal?

I have said all along that Misskelley had the strongest case for ineffective council for that very reason - I have little doubt that had Stidham cooperated with the current defense and admitted that he fucked up by going to trial, Misskelley could have gotten a break.

Instead he whined about not having enough "resources" and Burnett rightly pointed out that he put up as good a defense as one could possibly expect given the fact that his client confessed to the crime.

Rozenwieg should have pointed to the 2/22 and reminded Burnett just how hard Stidham was fucking his "client".

It would appear that Stidham is STILL not finished fucking Misskelley over.

I agree 100% Farm.  I think the best argument for ineffective counsel is that Stidham ignored Jessie's confessions at every turn, and never really tried for a plea deal because he was more interested in making a name for himself in a movie.

I really would like to see the transcripts.  Hopefully they will be available soon.

He is such a joke! A disgrace to his profession. I can't believe that he is STILL peddling his twelve-hour bullshit to all and sundry. Just disgusting!
