This is directed to anyone living outside of the South.  Do your local news stations spend add on 20 extra minutes to the Friday newscast to cover high school football?  I'm just curious.  If so, do they give that segment a catchy phrase such as "Friday Football Fever?"

^^^they do here, all the stations, i know one of them uses the phase "friday night frenzy"~

They do it for college football here, but not high school. They have similar shows on Saturday night to recap after the games, and on Sunday to recap all the sports for the week. But this Columbus, and they love them some Buckeyes.

Sunshinekitty, ya know chl. 5 sends their news chopper over here on friday nights when WM, WMC and Marion have home games to shoot video at each field.
